Builder _ Investor _ Dad

Most days I'm somewhere between trying to understand the future and investing in it. Sometimes both at once.

Running w3.wave, a liquid token fund. Angel investing across AI, deep tech, and robotics. Vibe coding products in my free time. Raising two kids in Berlin. Reading and writing about markets, technology and what it means to be human in the age of AI.

last_updated: March 2026

I keep ending up at the intersection of technology and culture. I spent eight years at Google on the enterprise and hardware side across EMEA, then scaled Nuri (formerly Bitwala) from 10K to 300K users as Chief Growth Officer. Now I run a small digital assets fund, make angel investments in things that sound slightly crazy today, and build AI products on the side. I also co-organize two small, private co-investment vehicles alongside friends. Based in Berlin.

I build things quickly using AI-assisted tools. A few things I've shipped:

I actively make angel investments across AI, fintech, and emerging tech. I also co-organize two small, private co-investment vehicles — Homie Capital and Common Thread II — alongside friends.

I follow my curiosity. It's led to some interesting places.

I joined Google in Dublin in 2011 on the enterprise side, working on acquisition and go-to-market for Google's business products across EMEA. Later moved to London and shifted to hardware — leading go-to-market strategy for Pixel, Google Home, and Chromecast across 15+ markets. Managed cross-channel media, co-marketing partnerships, and regional launches through some of Google's biggest consumer hardware pushes in Europe.
Joined as the first C-level hire to build out marketing, growth, BI, and communications — eventually leading a team of 40+ people. Helped scale the platform from 10K to 300K users and grew assets under management from near-zero to over €500M. Led the rebrand from Bitwala to Nuri and handled fundraising communications through Seed to Series B. It was a wild ride at a crypto-meets-banking startup in Berlin, and I learned a lot about what it takes to scale something fast in a regulated market.

I'll be writing about markets, technology, parenting, and what it means to be human in the age of AI. Coming soon.
